Ingredients
- 200 g unsalted butter, softened
- 100 g caster sugar
- 300 g plain flour
- 1 tsp culinary lavender
- Pinch of sea salt
Method
- Cream the butter and sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the flour, lavender and salt to form a soft dough.
- Shape, wrap and chill for 20 minutes.
- Roll the dough lightly on a floured surface, then slice or cut into rounds.
- Bake at 170°C for 15–18 minutes until lightly golden.
- Cool on a wire rack.
