Ingredients
- 1 bottle dry white wine
- 6 fresh meadowsweet flower heads
- 2 strips unwaxed lemon peel
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 tbsp honey, optional
Method
- Place all ingredients in a covered glass jug.
- Refrigerate and infuse for 6–8 hours.
- Strain carefully.
- Pour into a clean bottle and keep refrigerated.
Ways to Enjoy It
Serve a small chilled glass.

Meadowsweet, Filipendula ulmaria, has creamy flower heads with a sweet almond-like fragrance.
