Wasabi is a rhizomatous herb that produces fresh green growth from spring through to autumn. The leaves, flowers, and rhizome are all edible, each offering a fresh, aromatic flavour with a gentle sweetness and warming character.
Best grown in cool, shaded, and consistently moist conditions, it is ideal for containers, raised beds, or sheltered areas — even near water features where the soil remains damp.
